Yan Kyaw Min @ Oscar is a resilient, strategic leader who transforms adversity into opportunity. He led successful business ventures in post-crisis Myanmar and the UK, combining innovation, operational excellence, and community impact. His journey reflects bold entrepreneurial comebacks, rapid growth, and purpose-driven leadership across complex environments.
Oscar holds a Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering from Temasek Polytechnic, Singapore, and a First Class Honours degree in Global Business from a UK university. His academic journey reflects strong foundations in technical and strategic disciplines, complemented by leadership roles, international exposure, and a focus on entrepreneurship and sustainable development.
Oscar joined Carlsberg Myanmar in 2017 and rose swiftly from Assistant Manager to dual Manager roles in Packaging and Operational Excellence. Within four years, he led major efficiency and waste-reduction initiatives, doubled his responsibilities and salary, and became a key figure in optimizing operations and driving performance improvements.
In early 2024, Oscar launched Bon Sine Nostalgia Bar in Yangon’s Chinatown, rapidly growing it into the area’s largest venue through bold vision, strategic execution, and hands-on entrepreneurial leadership. In 2025, he expanded his entrepreneurial journey to London, applying the same bold vision and strategic execution to build purpose-driven business ventures in a global setting.
